Why are we here?
Bashiru Mansaray (Co-Founder & CTO of iCANSL) founded OS Preneur in December 2017 to help improve the growth of African Start-up businesses in other to grow Africa Economy.
As an Entrepreneur himself, he knows the obstacles that African entrepreneurs are facing in terms of access to capital, business development etc. He notices that many young Africans has great business ideas, but often lack the knowledge and skills to help them develop their ideas into successful businesses. When he started his first business (iCANSL), he experienced so many difficulties from developing his business idea to seeking funding, managing and marketing his services. It was really a hard journey for Bashiru, which made him to almost give up until he meets a Mrs Lady called Mrs Ninie, who helped him develop his idea into a business. Mrs. Ninie serves as an Angel Investor and a Mentor to Bashiru and later her husband join the company who also serves as an Angel Investor and a Mentor to Bashiru. Both of them helped him grow iCANSL as it is today.
Bashiru believes that there are many young Africans out there with great ideas that can help grow Africa economy, but most of them are or will experience the same difficulties he went through with his business idea and the truth is many of them have already given up on their ideas.
He wants to help his fellow Africans not to experience what he went through but rather learn from it. Therefore, they will use that to save time and money. He believed it is better to learn from someone else`s mistakes than to create yours.
